Hello Everyone! I'm Deb Duty and I'm so happy to be joining the Crate Paper team!! I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with my wonderful husband and two awesome teen boys. I so love the hobby of scrrapbooking and I'm very thankful I found my way back a few years ago after a long absence. My everyday memories are documented with Project Life, which means when I make my regular layouts, there are no rules! I just enjoy playing with paper and embellishments and I scrap whatever photos I'm feeling like at the moment! I enjoy photography, but my dslr is very neglected lately in favor of my iphone. It's so convenient and does such a great job..and Instagram is just an added bonus! I'm looking forward to a great year with Crate Paper!
Hands down, Acorn Avenue!
Hi! I'm Anabelle O'Malley! I live in Delaware with my husband and our nine year old son, Ryan along with our orange tabby, Pulu. I've been paper crafting for the past eight years and have loved every minute of it. It truly is my creative outlet. As a child, I would spend hours drawing and making cards for people, so this is just a natural extension of my love for all things paper. Along with creating layouts, I still love card making and trying out new techniques. My creations contain lots of texture and details, layering and clustering. I love mixing colors and patterns! Lately, foam adhesive and die-cuts from my Silhouette machine have been making many appearances on my pages.
I have had the pleasure of designing for a variety of manufacturers and have had my work published in Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbook Trends, Cards, Papercrafts and other paper crafting books and publications. Additionally, I was a Memory Maker's Master in 2008. I'm thrilled to be returning to the Crate Paper team this year and look forward to being inspired by our new team.
Choosing my all time favorite Crate collection is hard! When I say I love them all, I'm certainly not kidding. But, if I had to choose one that I went to over and over again, it would be Portrait. I just adore the colors in that line and the vintage elegance. That being said, I have to add DIY Shop as another favorite. It's definitely reminiscent of Portrait, but has some more fun and whimsical elements in it. I'm really enjoying using it!
Ashley has a passion for paper crafting, photography, fashion, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. She has always been interested in the arts and started scrapbooking in high school which was long before any industry focused products were available. After an encouraging push from her husband, McArthur, Ashley started blogging in 2008 when she discovered the paper crafting online world. Currently, she designs for Papertrey Ink and Studio Calico. When she's not in her studio, you can find her photographing a wedding, traveling, surfing the Internet, or watching HGTV or Food Network.
Of course, the adorable Emma's Shoppe.
My name is Evelyn Pratiwi Yusuf. A wife and a wedding photographer who lives in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. Photography and scrapbooking are my number one hobbies. I can't separate the two because I find happiness in both! There's a different story to every single project. I think scrapbooking is the perfect way to add meaning and timelessness to the photos I capture with my camera. I've been in love with scrapbooking since 2010. I originally began as a digital scrapbook artist, but after stopping by and purchasing paper products one day, I was sold! My scrapbook style is a combination of both American and Asian. I love to focus in on my photos by surrounding them with a mix of pretty details. I'm also a huge fan of color! That being said, I think all of Crate Paper's collections are the perfect fit for my scrapbook style and I can't wait to use them!! They're full of color and amazing details.
My name is Michiko Kato, and I live in Osaka with my wonderful husband and three lovely daughters, Yuno, Rinka, and Iori. I love my family as well as scrapbooking! Another one of my hobbies is taking pictures! I have two cameras, but I almost never use them. Lately, I like taking pictures with my iphone, because I can view photos immediately and it's easy to retouch pictures. My daughter likes taking with it, too. I often create layouts with her photos because they're so funny and cute. My scrapbooking style is to layer over and over again with papers and embellishments. Also, I like bringing details to the stories behind my layouts. One of my favorite techniques is the creation of "blowing bubbles" and "flying balloons". I've done this plenty of times with the help of Crate's collections these last few months! I look forward to creating with Crate once again and am honored to be a part of this wonderful team!
My favorite Crate Paper collection is Acorn Avenue. I love shabby chic and cute chipboard. When I saw Acorn Avenue for the first time, I fell in love with the chipboard designs.
Join us tomorrow to meet more of this fabulous team! Also, we're sprucing things up around here!! The Crate Paper blog will experience a face lift over the next couple of days to reflect it's newest product designs. We hope you LOVE it! We're going all out CUTE!
