Happy Tuesday Crate Paper friends! Emily here with the Sketch Winner for May. I am actually a state away from my home, visiting my family in Utah, so I don't have access to my smiling face picture. I'm sure you'll be OK without it just this once, right?
As usual, I was blown away by the almost 40 amazing creations you shared with us, it's always such a treat to see your many different takes on the same sketch. I wish you could all be winners of the prize, but seeing what you create, I know you are winners no matter what, you are scrapping your and your family's memories. (Sorry if that sounds cheesy, my daughter would tell me that.) Thank you so much for playing along every month.
Here were my favorite layouts this month, with the winner being Moments by Genevive Rulona. She created such a fun and playful layout, I really love her clusters and the heart and star add so much whimsy to this nice clean design. Genevive, please send your contact information to firstname.lastname@example.org!
Mary-Ann Maldonado turned the sketch sideways and made some adorable kite embellishments to compliment her story. I love how we get to "see" what her boys are looking at!
I think Rebecca Keppel's keeping all the elements the same but moving things around was so very clever. My favorite part? How she turned the photo strip frame so it was the horizontal element and then ran a ribbon through it. Great job!
Thanks to everyone for playing this month, and I'll see you in a few more weeks with the June challenge.
