April Crate Color Challenge

 

 

Hello Crate Paper friends!! It's Tara here to share our Crate Paper Color Challenge. When I think of April I imagine warm-sunny Spring afternoons, flowers blooming and picnics at our favorite park! For many of us Spring has officially sprung this month! I decided to choose a color combination of pretty Spring inspired colors: coral, aqua and butter-cream.

 Just a couple of rules for the challenge before we start:

 - You may submit a card, layout or project to be eligible. Projects need to be submitted by midnight (EST) April 15th. Please email your work to cpblog@cratepaper.com

- You may use the colors in any proportion you wish, as long as you use all 3 colors in the palette. And you may add black, white or kraft paper to the colors.

- Projects must use at least 75% Crate Paper - you may mix any paper lines you like, old and new.

- The winner will be announced on April 18th and I'll share some of my favorite projects here on the blog. The winner will be selected based on creativity and quality of work.

Here's my take on the color palette. I have a confession too, I had every intention to use white card stock as my base, but later changed my mind when I saw this polka-dot paper from the Portrait collection! I combined the corals and aqua's from Emma's Shoppe with the formal papers of Portrait.

Love this colour combo! And your kids are so cute :) This was a real challenge for me because I don't have many crate products, they are not widely available here in Holland. I had to improvise because I had no Crate embellishments at all. With you in their design team they should have some nice fabric flowers!!
