Crate Paper Products (#2) - Valued at $100 Retail
Each and every day there is such a variety of projects posted, I love it! There is something for everyone. I would have to say today that my favorite is the mini album. I have been in a mini album mood lately, I have made 3 in the past month and that one is just too cute!

Starbucks Coffee House $40 Gift Card
I love that mini, any reason to re-use those gorgeous cup sleeves. My husband would totally freak out if I won a Starbucks giftcard. He always chooses to go to Starbucks on our dates. It has become a tradition for us. This would certainly be an awesome prize to win.

A heartfelt congratulations to the winners!! Send your shipping info to info@cratepaper.com! Also, a huge thank-you to the rest for leaving comments and following us on this holiday spirited journey over the last week or so. It's been a tremendous honor to have shared in the creative endeavors of so many artists, including our blog readers. So, thank-you again and Happy Holidays!
In saying good-bye to the event, we'd like to leave you with a couple of extra projects and other bits of news. First is an update about the Crate Paper blog - we're taking a temporary holiday hiatus from blogging until January 3rd. We'll not be generating new posts between the dates of December 23rd - January 2nd. Though, there is one exception!! Emily Pitts is planning to return December 27th with our Happy Holidays sketch challenge winner, so if you partook in the challenge or simply want to peek at the submissions, join us then! Otherwise, we'll see you January 3rd!
Here are a few last minute homemade touches to be added to your "must-make" list!
Hi there, Crate Paper friends, Mou Saha here with today’s project and tutorial. The part of Florida, USA where I live never turns into a white snowy winter wonderland… sigh! However, with Crate Paper’s Snow Day Collection, I created a wreath this year to deck our halls for the holidays. Let me show you how I made it!
For this project, I used patterned papers and self-adhesive chipboard shapes from Crate Paper’s Snow Day Collection. I also used an old book page, a piece of plain chipboard, some bells, wire, eyelets, crop-a-dile and adhesive.
First, cut out leaf shapes free hand from the patterned papers and old book page.
Draw a circular wreath shape on a sheet of plain chipboard and trim it out.
Start attaching the leaf shapes around the wreath using adhesive.
And this is what it looks like with all the leaves attached!
Now, add some chipboard shapes all around the wreath to dress it up!
Punch holes through the top and bottom of the wreath and set eyelets through them using the crop-a-dile or another eyelet setter to reinforce the holes.
Pop out a big chipboard snowflake and tie two jingle bells to it with wire.
Tie a wire through the top of the wreath to hang it.
Hope you guys can take a little time this holiday season to be crafty! Happy Holidays!!
There are of course a small sampling of last minute holiday projects that we've yet to post, so here we have them! The first is a kid-friendly, self entertaining activity book for the kiddo's...
Heidi had mentioned to us that it'd probably be easier to present the activity book via video vs. attempting a whole series of photos and page summaries - watch the video to find out what had inspired Heidi to create the book! We're almost a 100% certain that most of you know of a familiar story.
This final presentation is on behalf of Ania Jo Lexander - it's her very own version of the December Daily album - they're literally little cards that open up to images, journaling and a harmonious scattering of pretty papers and embellishments. They're insatiably cute, aren't they?! They'd be a wonderful addition to a mantel or shelf in displaying special holiday memories as well!
A few of you may have been directed to our blog from Teresa Collin's blog - in collaboration with Teresa's ongoing 25 Favorite Things Giveaway event, we're offering to her visitors a total of 4 collections kits - Two Restoration & Two Snow Day!! Leave a comment in the comment section below and we'll post the collection takers next Monday when also announcing the winner of the latest sketch challenge! Good Luck and thanks for visiting the Crate Paper blog!
Wishing all of you the happiest of holidays!
