We received a HUGE response to our ongoing design call!! We've spent the last few days reading and reviewing the many submissions that have come our way so far these last few days and let it be said, it won't be easy for us to decide who'll be joining CP as one of the lucky CP Girls! It's going to be an extremely tough decision, that's for sure..we're hoping to round up a list of design team names in the next week or two. The deadline for submitting to the call is this Sunday, June 27th, so if you're thinking about applying, you still have a fews days left to email us with your interest in being a part of the team. When applying, please send us links to your online gallery/blog (optional) or images of some of your favorite creations that best represents your current ongoing scrapbook style. You aren't required to submit works using our products either - we're simply interested in learning more about you as a scrapbooker and designer! Hopefully, this additional information answers some of the questions we've been seeing here in response to the call - we appreciate the questions and will keep you posted over the next week or so as we begin selecting the new CP Girls! Thanks to all who've applied thus far!! We can't wait to 'til next week!
Does this color palette remind you of something? How about our Pink Plum collection? It appears vaguely familiar, don't you think? Well, we spotted (thanks to one of our current blog contributors, Larissa Albernaz) the ever familiar color palette at a fresh, fashionable online challenge blog called the "The Color Room". It's a place of total inspiration as they post a new color palette and sketch each and every week to jump start one's creative process. Challenge participants have an opportunity to win prizes by simply sharing their work in "The Color Room's" online gallery. Not a challenge kind-of-gal? You don't have to participate the enjoy all the delightful bounties this place has to offer - there's enough eye candy to boot as they're online gallery and weekly tutorials are worth seeking just about any day of the week. Again, it was our dear sweet Larissa that brought "The Color Room" to our attention - take a peek at what she's created using this week's color palette - she's an ongoing member of "The Color Room" design team. Isn't this spectacular? Look at her adorable spiral flowers made from our Paper Doll collection! We think they're insatiably cute!!

I've been a member of The Colour Room almost since it's inception. I have had 2 layouts picked up for publication out of 4 which I created for TCR's challenges and I have to admit my favourite layouts have been as a result of this inspirational site. :D
